Students were invited along by Student Engagement and Enrichment Lead Kara Brown:

“Dealing with the fast-changing plans of a professional news crew was quite a challenge – thanks so much to Tony from IT for coming up with technical solutions.

“This was a great opportunity for the students, they are never likely to be on national news again, so it will look good on their CVs.”

The TV crew conducted a series of interviews and then edited the basic material in readiness for the national news programme a few hours later. The theme was monarchy in the lead up to the Coronation of King Charles III.
