Rose Sargent was named English Teacher of the Year in recognition of her commitment to helping students develop the confidence, resilience and communication skills needed to succeed in education, employment and life. Through her supportive approach and high expectations, she has helped many students overcome previous challenges and rediscover a belief in their own abilities.
Christian Núñez Fuentes received the IT Teacher of the Year award for his innovative approach to teaching and his commitment to preparing students for careers in the digital sector. By connecting classroom learning with real-world industry experience, he has helped students develop the technical and professional skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
Ashley Spiers was recognised as EDI Champion of the Year for his leadership in creating a more inclusive and supportive environment across the Group. Through his work championing equality, diversity and inclusion, he has helped strengthen opportunities for staff and students alike, ensuring that everyone feels valued, respected and able to succeed.
The Group also congratulated Emmanuel Amissah and Steven Minney, who were shortlisted as finalists in the Maths Teacher of the Year and STEM Teacher of the Year categories.
