Tresham College creative students have shared their exceptional work at an end-of-year display.
HND Fine Art, Fashion & Textiles and Photography students created a gallery of their work in the Learning Space at Wicksteed Park, Kettering.
“We are very proud of the work our students have created and it’s important for them to display their work professionally. At our Kettering Campus we offer a broad range of creative courses, from part-time evening classes all the way up to degree level study,”
said Head of the Art and Design Department Beth Partridge.
Sophia Vichna, 20 from Kettering, came to the UK in 2022 from the Ukraine. Passionate about fashion, Sophia signed up for an HND course in fashion and textiles whilst also creating her own range of unisex T-shirts.
Katie Evans, 20 from Corby, has completed her HND in Photography. Combining her love of music and photography Katie’s work involved images of herself playing the piano wearing illuminated gloves.
Both students have decided to continue their education at Tresham College, enrolling onto the Bachelor of Arts course.
“It is great to be able to carry on with my education here at Tresham. The staff are very supportive, it’s local so I can stay at home and not have to give up my part time job which allows me just to focus on my studies and not worry about debt,” said Katie.
Kettering Deputy Mayor Alex Evelyn was among the guests, family and friends invited to view the work.
