Some of the biggest names in business in Bedfordshire are sponsoring Bedford College’s annual awards ceremony on Tuesday 28th November.
Riverside, the multi-million pound hotel, cinema and restaurant development which sits on the North of the Great Ouse opposite Bedford College, is among them, plus the Harpur Centre which houses national retail brands and the BedfordBID which represents 500+ businesses in the town centre which benefit from the custom of campus staff and students.
In addition, Bluegreen Design Consultants are enhanced sponsors. They have worked with The Bedford College Group for multiple branding projects including the Bedford College Academies Trust and its two new schools at Wixams, The Bedford Sixth Form and Tresham College in Northants.
These add to scores of other companies who sponsor awards across all categories presented at the Bedford Corn Exchange by Principal and CEO Ian Pryce CBE and his team.
Each year 750 students and their families pack into the venue to celebrate their many successes. These are only a percentage of the 20,000 students working with The Bedford College Group to improve their life chances through education and training. These range from 16+ students swapping school for career-orientated courses, to those taking A Levels and heading for first choice universities, there is an enormous range of employment-related courses and Higher Education for those wanting to obtain a degree.
