Bedford College Performing Arts Students Help Bring Halloween Magic to The Secret Farm

A group of 20 talented Performing Arts students from Bedford College, part of The Bedford College Group, brought their creativity, energy, and spooky spirit to life at The Secret Farm in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire, over Halloween.

As part of their work placement, a key element of their Level 3 Performing Arts course requiring 35 hours of industry experience each year, the students joined the fantastic team at The Secret Farm, which ran a series of family Halloween and pumpkin-picking events throughout October. The placement allows students to apply their learning in a professional setting, gain hands-on experience, and begin building their network within the performing arts industry.

Across the 29th, 30th, and 31st of October, Bedford College students performed alongside the farm’s professional cast of actors to deliver frightfully fun experiences for visitors of all ages.

“This was a fantastic opportunity for our Performing Arts students to put their skills into action in a real-world setting. They embraced every moment, brought so much energy and enthusiasm to their roles, and represented Bedford College brilliantly. Collaborations like this give our students invaluable experience and confidence and seeing them light up The Secret Farm with their performances was incredible!”

The collaboration not only brought Halloween thrills to families but also provided the students with valuable work placement experience in live immersive performance, teamwork, and audience engagement.
