Skill Build - 3 of the best

Bench Carpentry and Joinery apprentices came second and third in their category at the Skill Build competition held in June.

Said lecturer Kenny Hill:

“Firstly a big thank you to their employers for allowing them time off from work, we know how busy everyone is. Three students Stuart, Ryan and Euan Lee had to lug a tool chest on public transport across London to Lewisham College.

“They then had to work from a briefing and drawings of a curved door/window. All three completed the complicated task, which other competitors failed to do. We hope that the final marks are enough to take them through to the national finals.

“Well done everyone”
