What are Apprenticeships?
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experience. Alongside on-the-job training, you’ll spend at least 20% of your working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

How does an apprenticeship work?
During an apprenticeship, you’ll spend 80% of the working week at your place of employment. For the rest of the time, you’ll study the theory behind what you’re doing at work. This is usually one day a week and can be agreed with your employer.
Did you know there are different Apprenticeship levels ?
These are :
- Intermediate (Level 2)
- Advanced (Level 3)
- Higher ( Level 4)
- Degree (Level 6/7).
