Pearson National Teaching Awards 2022 FE Lecturer of the Year

Steph Lee-Vae

Tresham College Art and Design lecturer Steph Lee Vae has been voted as FE Lecturer of The Year 2022 in the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards

Steph was filmed by the BBC’s One Show for the announcement at the college campus in Kettering and at the Corby Adrenaline Alley.

Steph is from Corby and is well known as a skate-boarder and voluntary coach at Europe’s largest indoor urban sports venue.

Dulux Selector Decorator Awards Apprentice Mentor Award

Mike Pool

Mentor Mike Poole from Northants, who works with The Bedford College Group, has been announced winner of the ‘Apprentice Mentor’ category at the national Dulux Select Decorators Awards.

A member of the Northampton Construction Training Group, Mike was crowned category winner in recognition of his commitment to the development of young people in Northamptonshire and securing the future of the industry. He currently has an apprentice from Tresham College working with him.

The Bedford College Group took the top prize in the Bedfordshire Chamber Business Awards for being the best “Equality Trailblazer” in the county.
