Transport and Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Logistics (ST0647) Level 3 Apprenticeship

The Transport & Warehouse Operations Supervisor Apprenticeship prepares learners to manage and supervise daily operations in transport, logistics, and warehousing. Apprentices develop the skills to lead teams, ensure safe and efficient processes, and maintain high standards of customer service.

Course information

15 months.

Workshops quarterly.

Areas covered include:

  • Knowledge – Understand transport, warehouse, and logistics operations, plus health & safety and compliance, to work confidently and efficiently
  • Skills – Lead teams, organise workloads, solve problems, and communicate effectively, making you a capable and trusted supervisor
  • Behaviours – Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, adaptability, and leadership, helping you progress in your career.

Desirable:

Grade 3 and above Maths and English GCSE.

  • Completion of a portfolio of evidence
  • Completion of the off-the job learning components of the programme

End Point Assessment will consist of:

  • Multiple Choice Test
  • Project Report with Presentation and Questioning ·
  • Interview

Progression routes

  • Operations Manager / Senior Supervisor – overseeing larger teams, multiple shifts, or several depots
  • Logistics Manager – managing end-to-end logistics, supply chain coordination, and transport planning
  • Warehouse Manager – responsible for warehouse operations, stock control, and staff management
  • Transport Manager – managing fleet operations, route planning, and compliance
  • Training / Development Roles – mentoring or training new supervisors or apprentices
  • Specialist Roles – health & safety coordinator, inventory controller, or compliance officer
