OverviewTextiles & Fashion Maker T Level
This T Level course comprises of three key elements- core knowledge delivery, work placed training and an employer led project. You will learn as part of your course about the creative economy and specialise in making Textiles and Fashion.
The second aspect of the course will be a work placement where you will gain on the job technical skills relevant to your course. As part of the course you will be set a work-based project which will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills you have gained.
4 GCSEs grades 9-4 including English Language and Maths.
A strong desire to undertake work placement in a craft and design role.

The course will involve both written coursework, employer set projects and examinations.

The work placement will provide an opportunity to learn and apply technical skills gained during the qualification. This placement will be within a company or organisation which is within the craft and design sector. Learners will be expected to undertake 315 hours of work place learning across the two-year program.

Trips will take place during the course with a small cost to be incurred, and protective clothing will be required. All additional costs will be discussed at interview.
