Introduction to Networks CISCO Academy CCNA Part 1

Begin your journey into networking. This is the first of three Cisco CCNA professional courses that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to achieve industry recognised qualifications including: CCENT, CCT, CCNA & CCNP. The course includes classroom theory & practical delivery, with online resources via a virtual classroom to help further your understanding.

Entry requirements
  • Essential: Level 2 IT Qualification
  • Desirable: Cisco IT Essentials or CompTIA A+

If you have no computing background you should consider alternative introductory courses prior to applying.

  • Network Layer

  • ICMP
  • Transport Layer
  • Application Layer
  • Network Security Fundamentals
  • Building a Small Network.
Assessment methods

Weekly online chapter exams to be completed in your own time. A final Cisco CCNA online exam to be completed at the end of the course.

Funding Information

Pay by instalments

The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
