Indian Head Massage City & Guilds Level 3 DiplomaIndian head massage is an ancient art handed down through generations in India which aims to promote health, beauty and a long life. This massage technique focuses on the head, neck and shoulders and can complement other massage techniques for wellbeing.
This course will teach you how to select the most suitable medium for your client to improve scalp or hair condition, and how to adapt your treatment according to your client. You will learn what is meant by the chakras, as well as how the body systems work. This will include anatomy and physiology as well as the theoretical side of massage along with practical training. Please note – you will be required to model as part of the training.

- A good standard of written and spoken English to allow for study and competence for the online examinations.

Course progression:
You can progress onto further qualifications e.g. Level 2 Beauty Therapy
Career progression:
Working as an Indian massage therapist in the industry. Once fully qualified up to Level 3, career paths include working in salons, in spas, or being self -employed and running their own business.
Average salary is £24,000.

Funding Information
The College offers an instalment plan for Further Education and Higher Education courses to students where the total amount payable at the point of enrolment is £200 or more. Within the scheme there is an ability to pay up to 6 instalments, depending on the length of the courses and the final payment must be paid at least a month before the end of the course.
