OverviewImprovement Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
Improvement Technicians are responsible for delivery and coaching of improvement activity within an area of responsibility, often associated with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. They can be found across all industry sectors and functions including automotive, banking, engineering, food products, IT, property, retail, telecoms Local and County Councils, NHS, Voluntary / Charity, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, Hospitality etc.
Students can enrol at any point in the year.
When offered job role and start date agreed with employer.
As soon as employment starts.
The apprenticeship covers a range of Skills Knowledge and Behaviours. Whilst studying you will be supported throughout the programme to develop:
- Knowledge in change management, project management tools, different lean tools as well as different types of analysis required in improvement mapping
- Skills in defining problems, root cause analysis and compliance
- Learn to model behaviours like team work and striving for results as well as professionalism
Work will be set via our e portfolio system and a tutor will come out to see you at work and meet via teams regularly to support you during the programme.

Progression to Team Leading Apprenticeship
Potential Full-time employment options on completion, Nearly 2 years in industry experience as well as transferrable skills. Career role progression to a Team Leader, Compliance Technician, improvement co-ordinator.
