The awarding body for this qualification is the University of Northampton. Dependent upon your route into HND you may begin study during your second year of HNC and complete the HND in a further third year (3 years total for HNC and HND). Alternatively, you may begin your HND in the years following your HNC completion in which case your first year will comprise of 2 units (half-day study at Bedford College) followed in the second year with a full day’s study of 4 units.
