Engineering Adults HE Part-time

Overview

General Engineering HNC (UoN) (Full time)

The Engineering Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes will enable you to enhance your understanding of engineering and help your career advancement.

The HNC is for you if you are already working in a technical role within the engineering industry and are looking to obtain a vocational qualification at a higher level to support your position or to progress within your organisation.

If you are a trainee or an apprentice and have already completed your Level 3 in an appropriate engineering discipline then this qualification will equip you with the knowledge and understanding you need to develop your career in general and manufacturing engineering at a higher level.

The HND is designed for people who are already working in a technical role within the engineering sector and are looking to top-up their HNC in General Engineering to HND. On successful completion of the HND you will have the option to top-up the qualification to a full Bachelor’s degree at Bedford College or another university, or enter employment. The course can allow you to take advantage of management opportunities within the industry.
