Digital Business Services Data Technician Level 3 (T Level)

This T Level course comprises of a technical qualification, a substantial industry placement, and an employer led project. You will learn learn the essentials of all digital roles by understanding data and digital systems, how software and business interact, security, testing, planning and legal issues. You then build on this by developing specialist skills as a data technician to understanding how to source, analyse and interpret data to support business needs. As part of the course you will be set a work based project which will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills you have gained.

Students will gain work place specific skills and training.

Qualification

T Level Technical Qualification in Digital Business Services, Awarding body NCFE Level 3

Industry Placement

The work placement will provide an opportunity to learn and apply technical skills gained during the qualification. This placement will be within a company or organisation which is within the digital sector or delivering digital skills. Learners will be expected to undertake 315 hours of work place learning across the two year program.

Trips and extracurricular activities

Learners will have the opportunity to take part in employer roadshows and we welcome all learners to visit WorldSkills events and enter into WorldSkills competitions. We also help to organise trips to Universities and industry as enhancement.

Assessment methods

The course will involve both written coursework, employer set projects and examinations.

Degree courses within the Bedford College Group – BSc(Hons) in Digital Technologies Degree options within the digital sector.

Progression into the digital industry within the specialism that you have chosen.
