OverviewCreative Media Production (Visual Effects) Pearson BTEC HND (full-time)
This course will enable you to develop 2D and 3D digital skills for concept art, character animation and interface design.
You will work in a purpose built studio equipped with industry standard software tools including Adobe Animate, Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya and Maxon Cinema 4D, Unity and Unreal 4.

You will need to have successfully completed the HNC course to be able to progress onto the HND.
The HND will enable you to work with greater independence and autonomy. The Professional Practice and a knowledge of the industry will be a key feature of the HND. The course is supported by a series of technical and creative workshops.
There is an opportunity for optional cultural visits abroad to destinations such as Berlin
As part of this course you will work with a range of specialist lecturers (including practising artists and designers) in well-equipped studios and workshops.
Project briefs will be set for each assignment, and assessment is continuous throughout the course.
On successful completion of the HNC you can progress on to further study with our HND or choose to enter employment. On successful completion of the HND you can move directly into employment within the 3D modelling or animation industry, or alternatively top-up your qualification to a full Bachelor’s degree with further study at university.
