This flexible course provides specialist business education over two years and is delivered online with a nominated tutor to support you throughout with weekly lessons and tutorials. The course can be studied alongside employment or other commitments however motivation and self-discipline will be key.
Course information
To join the course you will need to have successful achievement of the HNC in Business. Applicants should have good study and research skills.
You will study the following units:
- Organisational Behavior
- Principles of Operations Management
- Understanding and Leading Change
- Global Business Environment
- Business Strategy
- Planning for Growth
- Business Research Project (Pearson set)
You will gain:
Pearson Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business Management.
Assessment is through practical assignments with no exams – to more accurately reflect the real working environment. Through this engaging approach to learning, you will be ready to face the challenges of the modern business world armed with the hands-on skills employers demand.
On successful completion of the course, you will be able to progress onto a business top-up degree at university, subject to achieving the required grades. Completion of this course would improve job prospects and earning potential in a range of Business sectors.
Please note: This course can be started at regular intervals throughout the year at the start of each new unit of study.
The course is run from Bedford but an Online Learning Course allowing for flexible 24 hour access to Pearson HN Online. Online Learning allows for flexible study. There is no college attendance however students will be allocated a tutor who will run weekly online lectures and tutorials. All students will be provided with a timetable of study.
Learners will need a laptop/desktop with access to the internet.
