Free to be me at Shuttleworth College! We’ll be opening our doors again for an in-person event in April.

If you are unsure of your next steps or are interested in our courses at Shuttleworth College, then this is the perfect opportunity to find out more.

Our expert team of tutors will be available to discuss our courses, our Student Services team will be on hand to answer your questions about everything from support and finance through to welfare and transport.  You will also be able to visit our impressive facilities for yourself and see what life is like at College.

Please note, Animal & Equine tour tickets will need to be booked on arrival.

Is there parking available on-site?

We have free parking available at Shuttleworth College, which is on a first come first serve basis.

Where do I go when I arrive at the College?

Please head towards the Welcome Desk in the Munch & Mocha Cafeteria where you will be greeted by a member of staff upon arrival at the College. They will then direct you to the correct subject stands based on your interests.

What can I do at an Open Day?

Whether you’ve already applied or have no idea what you want to study yet, our Open Days are perfect for you! You can get a real feel of student life. Tutors will be on hand to explain in depth about our courses and our Student Services Team will also be there to offer advice on careers, transport, finance, wellbeing and more. You can also take advantage of the tours available for each of our courses.

What if I want to study A-Levels, do Shuttleworth College offer them?

If you wish to study A-Levels, then we recommend registering for The Bedford Sixth Form’s Open Day: see  www.bedfordsixthform.ac.uk/events.

What if I’m deaf/hard of hearing?

Please contact marketing@bedford.ac.uk prior to the event if this is something you require.

Do I have to be there for the duration of the event?

Of course not! When registering you will need to select a session time that is convenient for you. We are working in sessions to help with queue management and to try to maintain social distancing where possible.

How do I apply for a course?

You can apply during the day in one of our applications hubs or online on our website for all of our courses and our team will be there to support with how to do this.

Do I have to register to be able to come?

No, however, we strongly advise pre-registering for the event to help us manage the numbers of visitors on-site at any one time.

Does my entire family have to register?

No, only prospective students are required to register to attend an Open Day.
